Eid Is Here!
Finally, the time we've all been waiting for has arrived! It's the first day of Eid today! If you read one of my previous blogs about Ramadan, you'll know how excited I was for this day.
If you didn't read that blog, here's a link to it:
Every year, we to my grandmother's house on Eid, and over there I get to meet my aunts and uncles. So of course, that's where we're going today. On the third day of Eid, my family has been invited to an Eid dinner at our relative's house. There are a large number of people in my dad's family, so all the kids always get A LOT of Eidi. To be honest, I've only had Rs.500 in my wallet for the past few months, so I am in serious need of money. This is why, Eid is going to save me since I'm going to be collecting a lot of money this time.
Right after Eid, it's my cousin's wedding, so I'm excited about that too. For Eid, I have a white dress with some pastel colored designs all over it. It's very cute, and I'll also wear some pastel nail polish. I also applied a very small amount of henna on the tips of my fingers, and it looks very simple and elegant.
Since Eid is such a beautiful Islamic holiday, I made some gifts for my friends. I recently got obsessed with trinket trays, which are made of clay, so my sister and I made some as Eid gifts for our friends and cousins. I hope they like them.
So, I wish all of you, Eid Mubarak! Tell me how your Eid went, and don't forget to comment on your favorite part of this Islamic holiday.
Take care of yourselves.
F, signing off.
