Chocolate Filled French Toast
This breakfast has become one of my favs! It's so easy and simple, yet unique. It's 2 slices of French toast stacked on top of each other with chocolate in the middle.
This recipe doesn't belong to me, I watched a video on Instagram of another famous Pakistani chef making this with his daughter. I thought it looked yummy, and it was quite simple too.
Since I only made 1 of these for myself, this recipe will be for one person only. If you want to make it for multiple people, then you will have to multiply this recipe by the number of people you are making this for.
So let's check out the ingredients;
Chocolate Filled French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
2 bread slices
Chocolate spread (as required)
1 egg
3-4 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
butter/oil for greasing the pan
whatever toppings you like (e.g.; honey, berries, powdered sugar, etc.)
Method
Spread the chocolate on the bread and sandwich both slices together. Keep this chocolate sandwich to the side for now.
In a separate bowl/plate, mix the egg, milk, sugar, and vanilla.
Once properly mixed, dip the chocolate sandwich in it and let the bread soak in the batter.
Take a nonstick frying pan and grease it. Keep it on the stove on a low flame.
Once the pan has heated, put the dipped chocolate sandwich in it and let it cook from one side.
Flip it, and, once fully cooked, keep it on your serving plate.
Add your toppings on top and serve it warm.
And that's it! I just dusted some powdered sugar on top of these, but you can add any topping you like. Try it out because it's a DELICIOUS recipe. Feel free to comment your thoughts down below. Don't be afraid to ask any questions you want, and don't forget to share your own recipe-making experience.
Send me an email with pictures of how you decorated your French toasts and how they turned out!
I will soon be back with another exciting blog. Until then, take care of yourselves.
F, signing off.
