An Introduction To Your New Favorite Blogger 🥰
Now that I've started blogging, it's time for me to introduce myself. I'm F, a teenage girl. I've created this blog in order to entertain my readers. I love to watch movies and TV shows, which is also why I will be posting reviews of all the new movies and shows I watch. Other than that, I enjoy reading books. Not only do I think that they look aesthetic, but every book teaches you something, which is why I totally agree with what one of the world's best authors has said;
“There's always room for a story that can transport people to another place.” -J.K. Rowling
Being a girl, I've always had a thing for fashion and style. I like to dress up and do makeup. I'm the youngest in my family, which is also why I get the most love :D. I have 2 older siblings, and they're both in university, which clearly shows that I'm the only kid left in school. *cries*
I was born in Oman, and I'm a Muslim. Throughout the years I've learnt a lot of lessons. I've met many sorts of people and have had all types of friends, whether it was in school or while travelling. I've only traveled to countries in Asia, and they're pretty much all Gulf countries. Now, I live in Pakistan, but I want to live in a country where it's cold. I just CANNOT resist the heat here! One of my favorite places to go to is the beach. The sea is so soothing to watch, and you can just switch off, clear your heads, and often find creative solutions to problems or inspiration for new ideas.
I've watched so many good movies that I can't even pick a favorite. I absolutely love The Book Thief and The Fabelmans. Of course, iconic movies like High School Musical and Harry Potter are also movies I love. But if you ask me my favorite TV show, the answer is definitely ⚡Ms.Marvel⚡. I watched it with my siblings, and we all loved it! Probably because she's the first Muslim superhero to be introduced into the MCU. Anyways, all of them did so well in acting! I'm already a huge fan of Fawad Khan, and when he played his part in episode 5 as Hasan, I WAS SO HAPPY!!! The show was funny and emotional at the right times. And the wedding scene, OMG I CANT EVEN-!
Nowadays, I'm reading 3 books at the same time, but the best ones out of all 3 of them are The Book Thief and Girl Online. I watched The Book Thief just a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it, especially Max! (Spoiler alert: LITERALLY CRIED WHEN HE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE MOVIE!!!). The book is great too. I just loved the idea of having Death narrate the whole story.
Girl Online is actually what gave me the idea of starting a blog. This book is literally so addicting. When I first bought the book, I kept reading it non-stop. And I had books from the school library which I had already reissued multiple times, which is why I had to hide Girl Online just so that I could finish those library books first!
I'll write reviews on both the books once I've read them.
I almost forgot to mention how much I love food. Back when Covid-19 began, our schools were closed and we had to study online. When that happened, I'd prepare food for myself and keep it ready to eat in the middle of my classes. Basically, online school was a multiple-recess school for me. I began to learn how to cook. That skill took over me and I'd always be trying out different recipes. I adapted an obsession for mug cakes during that time, and the love for them still hasn't worn off. I ate a lot during the lock down, which is why I began to gain weight. I'd also always be sitting in front of the laptop to take classes, which was even worse. Due to that, I started to exercise and diet. Although my diet didn't go how I hoped it would (I'd end up eating something unhealthy every time!), I was still able to loose a lot of weight. Now, I do take care of what I eat. I try not to eat too many unhealthy things because I definitely do not want to go through the torture of exercising again, but I still do love to eat sweet stuff. I'm a huge foodie, so I'll also be posting reviews of different restaurants I go to and the food I try.
Along with that, I'll try out new fashion trends, and will try to be a fashionable (and instagramable) hijabi. As a Muslim, I'll make sure to post Islamic blogs as well. Whether its for Muslim holidays, or if its any Islamic month when something major happens, I'll definitely write about those as well!
As a high schooler myself, I know how hard life for teenagers can be. Many teens go through difficult times, whether its insecurities, losing friends, too much workload, or family issues, such things can usually cause teenagers to get stressed out. And most of the time, too much stress leads to harmful actions. I'll write motivational blogs, and if you're ever going through difficult times, feel free to contact me and tell me about it, because sometimes you just need to talk about some stuff with others. I'm hoping that my blogs can be a positive place for you all, and they'll definitely make you laugh, so keep reading and commenting your thoughts to keep me motivated.
So, that's pretty much all about myself. Feel free to contact me, whether its to give any ideas for more of my blogs, or if its to share something else with me.
Take care of yourselves and your loved ones. ❤
F, signing off.
