Al-Hafeez; The Protector

Al-Hafeez is one of the 99 names of Allah in Islam. It is an Arabic word that signifies protection, preservation, and guardianship. Al-Hafeez means the Preserver, the Guardian, and the Protector.

In the Quran, Allah is described as Al-Hafeez in various verses. For instance, in Surah Al-Hajj, Verse 58, it is stated,

وَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ قُتِلُوٓا۟ أَوْ مَاتُوا۟ لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ ٱللَّهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًۭا ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ

As for those who emigrate in the cause of Allah and then are martyred or die, Allah will indeed grant them a good provision. Surely Allah is the Best Provider.
